Our Mission
To nurture and empower independent entrepreneurs by promoting grassroots innovations within a highly supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Directorate emphasizes innovation, incubation, and entrepreneurship to enable the creation of scalable startup ventures capable of achieving global recognition and generating substantial employment opportunities for future generations.
Objectives
- To foster an entrepreneurial culture among students, faculty, staff, alumni of SRM University-AP, and external stakeholders through continuous training, capacity building, and motivation, preparing them to become next-generation entrepreneurs.
- To identify emerging opportunities across diverse business sectors and instil the requisite entrepreneurial competencies among aspiring innovators to initiate and sustain successful ventures.
- To organize awareness programs, ideation workshops, bootcamps, hackathons, and training initiatives that enhance innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial capability among all stakeholders.
- To serve as a comprehensive resource hub offering incubation services such as funding support, mentoring, investment facilitation, technology transfer, and networking opportunities.
- To ensure the successful launch and growth of startup ventures through structured incubation programs and continuous support mechanisms.
- To achieve self-sustainability of the Technology Business Incubator (TBI) by developing effective operational models, strategic partnerships, and revenue-generating initiatives.
