He has held several prodigious positions such as Member of University Planning and Coordination, Associate Professor- Mechanical Engineering, Associate Dean- Academic Affairs & Operations in School of Engineering & Technology etc., in the erstwhile institution- BML Munjal University, Gurgaon. Pursuing an enterprising and challenging career as a training industry professional and academician in his previous places of work, Dr Kalluri has designed and delivered various undergraduate, postgraduate, and online courses throughout his career.
He is known for his association in the development of a manufacturing centre involving a mix of conventional facilities and advanced equipment like CNC turning, CNC Milling, EDM, Wirecut EDM, Injection Moulding Machine, Micromachining centre, cutting force Dynamometers, Energy Meters, Thermal Image camera etc. He has also been closely involved in the development of other mechanical engineering labs like Material Testing, Fluid mechanics and Thermal Engineering Labs. He promotes indigenous design and customization of lab infrastructure to foster hands-on learning. Having obtained his PhD from BITS-Pilani in Product Design in 2014, he was in constant exploration of the possibilities of lab development that cater to the requirements of students in the advanced fields.
