Experience

  • 2024 – Till Date | Assistant professor, Department of Physics, SRM University AP, Amaravati, India
  • 2021–2024 | Postdoctoral fellow, Institute of Biochemistry II, Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany
  • 2018–2021 | Postdoctoral fellow, Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Mainz, Germany
  • 2017–2018 | Postdoctoral fellow, Leibniz Institute for Polymer Research, Dresden, Germany
  • 2016–2017 | Postdoctoral fellow, Institute Charles Sadron, CNRS, Strasbourg, France
  • 2014–2016 | Postdoctoral fellow, Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai, India

Research Interest

  • In my research I use mathematical and computational tools to design a variety of materials—particularly functional biomaterials. The main tools I employ are data-driven machine learning methods, statistical mechanics, simulations, and rational design. I am especially interested in utilizing data-driven machine learning methods because they enable efficient exploration of the chemical space and offer insight by identifying expressive descriptors.
