National Frontiers of Engineering (NatFoE), a flagship event organised by the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) since 2006, aims to inspire young engineers (aged approximately 27-45) from industries, universities, and R&D labs to present cutting-edge research in various engineering fields. The 19th NatFoE-25 symposium was hosted by the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) in collaboration with the INAE Conclave on Atmanirbhar Technologies for Engineering a Secured Future, held on September 15-16, 2025. SRM University-AP, Andhra Pradesh, is a multi-disciplinary research-intensive institute combining academic rigour, evolving research ecosystem, entrepreneurial heritage, and pioneering faculty. About Engineer’s Day Celebrations at SRM University-AP

SRM University-AP will celebrate Engineer’s Day with great fervour, honouring the legacy of Sir M Visvesvaraya and recognizing the pivotal role of engineers in shaping the future. The School of Engineering and Sciences will organise a series of events, including an inaugural address by the Vice Chancellor, an inspiring keynote session by an industry expert, and engaging technical competitions, where students will showcase their innovative solutions. The event will conclude with a networking session, fostering collaboration and mentorship opportunities, further strengthening the university’s mission to nurture visionary engineers equipped to drive global progress.

Target Audience

Faculty members, PhD Scholars, Post-Graduate/Undergraduate Students, Industry Experts, Working Professionals. NatFoE will be co-located with the Innovation in Manufacturing Practices (IMP), a national project competition open to engineering students and practitioners. The competition welcomes participation from undergraduates, postgraduates, and PhD students in Engineering and Technology and incubators, providing a platform to showcase innovative solutions in manufacturing processes. IMP aims to foster creativity and technical excellence, offering participants an opportunity to present their projects to a distinguished audience of industry experts, researchers, and academics.
